Educational toys from Amazon!

 RECENT AMAZON BUYS!

Educational toys edition!

"Give children toys that are powered by their imagination, not by batteries."
-H. Jackson Brown-

With the recent pandemic, I have had multiple splurges on Amazon. Online shopping has been at an all time high in this household. However, I think I am addicted to buying educational toys! If you didn't know I have my degree in Early Childhood education. So finding toys that will encourage development and learning is dear to my heart. So this blog will be a short review on my recent finds on Amazon, what you can do to maximize your child's experience and whether or not I think is worth the buy! STICK AROUND.

Alphabet Fishing Game!

This first one I found was this fishing game. It has the alphabet letters on it. Comes with two magnetic fishing poles. So two children, or you and your child are able to work together to find all the letter. This one, was a big hit right off the bat. I recommend! Highly affordable and educational. I like to use it especially when I want to see where they are at with letter recognition.

I took a picture of the puzzle completed to be a reference for my kids.

Tetris Puzzle?

Tetris! Who doesn't like tetris? This one is one that even adults could use to keep busy! My only suggestion, since it is really difficult for children is to take a picture of the board and it's pieces in tact, print, and laminate for the child to be able to reference back to when putting the pieces together. This works as a puzzle and keeps their mind working. Although challenging I believe is worth it!

Melissa And Doug Abacus

This one is a Melissa and Doug Abacus. This one has been a hit. They are well known and you may have seen them in Target. If you are anything like me and an avid amazon shopper, this is should definitely be something you could throw in your cart.

 Letter Matching Game

I have mixed feelings about this one. It has cards with sight words on them that the children have to use the cubes with letters on them to spell them out. However, my only issue is that some of the cubes have a specific way to be arranged in order to have all the letters needed for a given word. Confusing to explain, but you will understand should you buy it. It just requires you to use your brain a bit more, which is not a bad thing! Do I still think you should give it a try, yes I do. This is a great way to exercise your child's brain. You may just have to help them out too.

Shape Magnets!

Ok so I think I may have mentioned these before in my previous blogs. But let me tell you something! Not only are these fun for the kids, but they are so addicting to play with for adults. A great way to spend time with your kid while learning with magnets. The ones pasted above may seem pretty steep in price but these are the ones I do have. If you browse around amazon for a bit you might find some cheaper! You may even be lucky enough to find them at ALDI. Either way, a must have.

True to its description! Very fun to use!

Dinosaur Stamps!

This one is also a Melissa and Doug item I got from amazon. My kid's recently used this and they love it. I love it. It comes with stamps of dinosaur, an ink pad, and color pencils so the children can have the freedom to be creative and create a dinosaur master piece! Highly recommend this buy!

Kid's love toys! What better way to learn if not with toys! Educational toys are my favorite and needless to say my children's fave as well. There are so many more toys I have that I wish I had the time to share with you that I got from Amazon but for today these are the few that my children enjoy using at the moment. Maybe I should make this a series? Let me know in the comments!
